Teacup Maltese

We went to the Worthington Farmers' Market today and there was a big art festival going on too. We didn't get anything much but saw this cute little Maltese in its little satchel. Spencer went along and had a good time seeing a lot of dogs there.

Sharing time again -

Here is a mola that I have had for many years. Molas are made by the Kuna people of the San Blas Islands off the coast of Panama. I first found out about molas from a friend of mine who had lived in Panama for a time. I found this one at a flea market back in the early seventies - a man who had worked on the Panama Canal was there with many for sale. I should have bought more than one but $10.00 was worth more then. It is about 15" by 20"

Ready for Summer!

In the last three days we scrubbed and re-stained the deck - quite a job!. This morning we put the furniture back that was wintering in the garage.

New Acquisition

Friday we went to the Columbus Art Festival and bought this water color by Gary D. Curtis of Woodstock, Georgia.

The dimensions of the work itself are about 4" by 7"

It came framed under glass and you may see reflections not part of the piece. I tried to avoid them in these photographs and was more successful in the top picture.
