The reds in the forest are so striking. Brings back memories of my favorite Ohio season. Here, the vine maples have done a very colorful job, but now they are past their peak. Hillsides have scatterings of yellow alders amongst the dark green of the firs.
Trick 'r Treat--just 20 kids here. No decorations. Maybe that's why they didn't show up in droves.
